LED Tape

The most complex part of this project was planning for and installing the LED tape which lit up the cracks running through the entire set. In addition, the lighting design called for additional Led tape to light up several windows in the set.

I made this spreadsheet to keep track of all the applicable details for this system. It also performed most of the neccessary electrical calculations.

Wireless Wall

This center wall also proved a challenge. It moved around the stage but also had built in led tape and a set-mounted birdie. actors could open the window and step through which meant that any electrical equipment had to be out of the way. This necessitated the construction of a wireless control solution which fit into the framing of the wall.

Tracking Light

The lighting design also called for a Fresnel to physically sweep across the stage. In conjunction with the technical director and shop staff, I devised this system to solve the challenge of rigging and cabling the fixture.
